The Asian American Student Coalition is a socially, culturally, and politically active student organization.

We aim to spread awareness of issues that affect the Asian American student community, both in how we personally visualize ourselves, as well as how others perceive us.

Our events include volunteer trips to local after-school programs where we develop and present workshops for elementary school children.  We try to incorporate cultural elements into games and events to promote diversity in the community.

The main project of AASC is our Leadership Conference for Asian Pacifics (LCAP), which is presented every two years (biennially).  The purpose of this event is to provide an open forum for students to engage in active discussion regarding contemporary Asian Pacific American (APA) student issues, such as cultural identity, interracial dating, career development, student activism, social justice, social stigmas, and personal image.

We hope you decide to visit us during our club meetings to learn more about what we are involved in.  Check out the our club pictures on this website.
