Appropriations Board


 


The Appropriations Board is responsible for the allocation of approximately 100,000 dollars in club funding. The seven Appropriations Directors base their decisions off of the ASUA Bylaws, club funding procedures,  and precedents in order to fairly and efficiently fund projects and travel for clubs and organizations.

Their weekly meetings are held Mondays at 3:00 pm in the Student Union, where they hear funding requests and vote on allocation amounts.  A representative from each club or organization appears at these meetings to address any questions so that the Appropriations Board can make an informed decision about their request.  After all funding requests have been heard, the proposed allocations are sent to the Senate to be confirmed.
