Important Dates

~  Timeline of Important Dates 2008/2009  ~

Sept. 10^th:   We will begin to accept Country Requests.

Oct 23^rd:                                PRIORITY REGISTRATION DEADLINE

We will begin assigning countries on this day to schools from which we have received complete country requests.

We will begin assigning countries in all traditional committees as well as Spanish language committees and the African Union on this date

Note: Schools are not eligible for country requests if they have outstanding fees due to Arizona Model United Nations

Dec. 18th:                    END OF FREE COUNTRY REGISTRATION

    After this date, schools will be charged a $25 late fee.

Mar 1st:   PAYMENTS AND POSITION PAPERS ARE DUE 

Delegate and Advisor Registration fees are due as well as the position papers. Please submit these materials by mail.  Position Papers not received by February 26^th will be docked 50 points.  After March 5^th, they will receive a zero.

After this day, an additional $5.00 per person is added to the balance for late payments.

March 19^th and 20^th:        ARIZONA MUN 48^th ANNUAL HIGH SCHOOL CONFERENCE 

If payments and incurred late fees are not received at registration, your school will not be allowed to participate at the conference  

Please Note:  We plan on holding several Regional Practices between the months of October and February, as well as several Rule-Learning Tutorials during September, October, and November.  They are an opportunity for schools to come together and practice in an informal setting.  If your school is interested in hosting and/or attending a Regional, or having our team come hold a tutorial for your delegation, please let us know.
