Back-to-School BBQ
This event is the kickoff for the school year, usually held the Saturday before classes begin at the home of one of the Center's faculty.
Brown Bags
"Brown bag" luncheons are held throughout the year, covering a range of salient issues for higher education students. Recent luncheons include discussions with Dr. Michael Jackson, VP of Student Affairs at the University of Southern California and with visiting scholar, Dr. Ben Tuchi concerning a critical evaluation of higher education costs.
Holiday Party
Near the end of the fall semester, the new board is announced and faculty and students wish each other well on finals and in the upcoming semester.
Spring Fling
The University's annual student carnival is a chance for us to have fun and raise money for the club. This event usually happens in late March or early April. See the Spring Fling web site for more info.
Graduate Recognition Luncheon
This event is held near the end of each semester and pays tribute to students completing degree requirements.
