Welcome to the 2006-07 Higher Education Student Organization!

The Higher Education Student Organization (HESO) at the University of Arizona is an active graduate student organization that provides opportunities for interaction between graduate students in higher education through informal programs and activities to complement their formal learning activities.

The mission of HESO is as follows:

"HESO is facilitated by a coordinating board of volunteer members. The primary mission of HESO is to bring students and community members of the Center for the Study of Higher Education together for social activities and academic related presentations and discussions. We intend to support and sustain the development of a vibrant, cohesive environment for all community members."

If you are a new student of the Higher Ed program, please see New Student Orientation.

If you would like to join HESO or renew your membership for the 2006-07 school year, please e-mail Brendan Cantwell at cantwell@email.arizona.edu beginning August 15th.

If you would like to contact someone about HESO, visit the Officers/Contacts page.

If you are an alumni of the Higher Ed program, please visit the new Alumni Page.

If you would like to be added to the HESO listserv, contact Sylvia Mahon, the Admin Assistant for Higher Education, at 520-621-7951 or smahon@u.arizona.edu
