I'm Osi Ikharebha 2011-2012 President of NSBE.  I'm currently a sophomore majoring in aerospace engineering with a minor in physics.  I'm very interested in technology, primarily aerospace related, and things that can benefit other people in their everyday lives.  Some of my hobbies are reading, running, working out, drawing, doing math problems, and just hanging out!  I'm excited to work with my board to make this NSBE chapter the best it can be now and for years to come!

Vice President: Rodney Zinyemba

My name is Rodney Zinyemba and I am Junior in Chemical Engineering and Applied Mathematics. Since this is my second year as the the vice-president I plan to learn from my mistakes after self reflecting what I did during the course of last year. On a positive note, my goal this year is to help the president fulfill his vision of creating foundation for the chapter that will allow us to grow in the future. I plan to execute that and feel free to talk to me any time

Secretary: Ashley Marks

I am Ashley Marks, and I am the secretary for the University of A Chapter National Society of Black Engineers. I am currently majoring in Engineering Management. My duties as a secretary is to make sure that our club is organized and efficient. This year, as our chapter makes attempts to grow, it will be my responsibility to make sure that the vast amount of information we come across is condensed in a way that is convenient while remaining informative.

Academic Excellence Chair: Iesha Batts

Hello. My name is Iesha Batts and I am studying chemical engineering. Outside of science I enjoy going to church, music, fashion, working out and hanging out with friends. It is my job as the Academic

Excellence Chair to ensure that every NSBE-UA member has the resources needed to thrive academically.

PCI Chair: Jerri-Lynn Kincade

My name is Jerri- Lynn and I am a sophomore in Biomedical Engineering. My goal is to go to medical school to study genetics. I joined NSBE because I want to help push, encourage, and motivate elementary and middle school children in pursuing a major in the science, mathematics, and engineering directed especially toward minorities. This year we will accomplish this by tutoring, hosting programs involving the youth, and holding our annual PCI event based around engineering.

Treasurer: Juanita Rogers

Year: Sophomore

Major: Physiology

I'm excited for all that NSBE/UA has planned for this year, and I look forward to making this chapter stronger with the help of the other E-Board members. I'm a Pre-Med student studying Physiology, and I plan on attending medical school in order to become a pediatrician.

Apart from NSBE, I enjoy running, hiking, reading and spending time with family!

Telecommunication’s Chair :                    Temesgen Fesahazion

My name is Temesgen Fesahazion and I am a sophomore in Electrical and Computer Engineering. This semester, my goal is to completely reinvent this site. As we push toward 100% site completion, my priority is to make sure that everyone is happy with the site. In addition, I want the site to attract new members to NSBE. NSBE has a lot to offer, and I want as many people as possible to be a part of it.
