8 Ramblers travelled to the high-elevation camping site at Hospital Flats in the Pinalenos (same range as Mt. Graham). This is a gorgeous meadow area at about 9000 ft., and about 2 hours from Tucson. Skies were crystal clear and it was quite cold the first night, but a large bonfire fixed the problem on the second night. On sunday, we hiked down to Granite Falls, a very large waterfall which was well worth the difficult return hike.
