Minutes for Meeting of 12-11-96

Hi everyone!

There are no hikes currently planned for this weekend, though some have been speculated. Watch the listserve for any proposed hikes.

This Wednesday was our last official meeting for the Fall semester, 1996. If anyone would like to get together this upcoming Wednesday (18), Erich will be at the steps of the Gallagher Theater or in the Cactus Lounge. Next semester we will be meeting in room 281 of the Student Union except for February 5th, when we will meet in room 283. Next semester the first official meeting will be January 15th. Hopefully that will be a lot easier than this semester has been!

The Ramblers' Hiking Club is having its Christmas Party this Saturday at Loretta's Apt. (620-1875) Bring food, a small gift (<$5), some games, but please do not bring any liquor. Loretta's Apt. is at 1502 E. 10th St. #130.

Sunday following the party there will be a game of soccer or Ultimate Frisbee (or something). Meet on the Mall in front of Gallagher at 1pm.

A caveat:

We received a thank you letter from our Thanksgiving Adopt-a-Family! They express their sincere gratitude for the help we provided!

Popular is having a sale on a lot of their Coleman equipment. There was a flyer in yesterday's paper.

Next semester a new VP will be needed. On January 15th that person may volunteer herself/himself or an election may be held.
