Minutes for Meeting of 03-04-98
Meeting called to order at 5:05pm. All officers present, 9 members present.
LAST WEEK:
-
Wolfgang - Romero Canyon on Saturday. Started by himself and ended with 3 other people. He said there was a lot of water and a few waterfalls along the way. It might be something to see!
-
BJ - Picacho Peak on Sunday. BJ led 6 people up to Picacho Peak (and returned with 6). He said the place was "swarming with hikers" because of the wildflowers blooming.
-
Loretta & Josh - Mt. Lemmon. They went up to play in the snow and ended up sitting in the café afterward for a few hours drinking coffee. (Loretta had too much).
-
Ezra - Tanque Verde Falls. Ezra did some bushwhacking because the trail was closed due to severe flooding. He only made it 5 miles in 5 hours and had to turn back early. He followed the river as far as he could get before turning back. He said there was a lot of water.
