Minutes for Meeting of 1-20-99
(updated information in blue)
Hello everybody,
Yesterday's meeting was a big one, 20 members were present including some new ones.
Last weekend's activities
* B.J. led a hike to Picacho Peak on Saturday, 9 people showed up for the hike. When they got to the top they saw a guy playing an accordian! (editor's note: it was actually a bagpipe). After the hike they went to DQ.
* Mike went to Baboquivari this weekend, he got close to the top but no climbing gear was available.
* Tristin hiked the San Fransisco peaks, she said it was really cool.
* Dave went hiking to the San Luis Mountains over the weekend, they are located to the west of Tucson.
* Wolfgang took a long hike in Catalina State Park this weekend. The Fifty Year trail is only 16 miles long. It was a pleasant hike with a lot of good views
