Minutes for Meeting of 02-03-99

Hello everybody!
Today's meeting was held with 15 members and 3 officers present.
Last week's activities:
-Wolfgang went to Saguaro National Park on Saturday after he missed Wit's hike to Soldier Canyon in the front range of the Catalinas. 10 people came including a dog named Chewie. The weather was nice for a short hike like this one.
-Tristin went to the Tucson Mountains and discovered an old burnt down house in the middle of nowhere. Sounds cool.
Upcoming hikes:
-Wit will be leading a C hike to Blacket Ridge near Sabino canyon. Probably 4 miles round trip. A good beginner's hike, hopefully the weather will be nice. This hike will leave from the Park student center at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. E-mail wit@ece.arizona.edu if you need more information.
-Next Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Dale wants to lead something near the Old Tucson studios. More info to come or e-mail dap@u.arizona.edu
-Tristin is planning a Sedona hike and camp out on the weekend of the 13th and 14th, that's next weekend. She plans to hike up Bear mountain. Rated B-. Sounds like a good one. Any questions, feel free to contact her at tristin@u.arizona.edu
