Minutes for Meeting of 02-10-99

Hello, Everybody!

Today's meeting was held with 11 members and 2 officers present.

-Josh from the Southern Arizona Rescue association, passed out a flyer about this club. There is a mandatory meeting on Tuesday February 16th at the Tucson Medical Center. For more info, contact polesj@u.arizona.edu

-Loretta went to Durango to visit Josh.

-Wolfgang took a short hike to Pima Canyon, near the Pusch Ridge area.

-It looks like the trip to Sedona will be cancelled due to Tristin's illness. Hopefully it will be rescheduled at a later date.

-Dale is leading a hike in the Tucson Mountains near the Old Tucson studios. Leave on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. from the Park Student Union. Rated C. For more info, call 903-1681 or e-mail dap@u.arizona.edu

-Dave will be leading a car camp and hike to the Santa Ritas for the weekend of the 19th and 20th. Leave on Friday around 5 or 6 pm and camp that night and do a day hike on Saturday through Temporal Gulch and Walnut Gulch. 15-16 miles rated A. Elevation change about 3000 feet, all on trail. -The volunteer project at saguaro national park is going to be on Sunday February 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Loretta passed out a sign up sheet around to all those interested. If interested and could not make it to the meeting call Loretta at 795-6892.
