Minutes for Meeting of 10-27-99

Hello Ramblers!

Announcements

1. There is a Frank Drake lecture at Centennial Hall on Friday (10/29/1999) @ 8:00PM.
2. Important: Unless otherwise announced, the meeting place for all hike hikes is behind the Park Student Center, in the parking lot.

Past Hikes

1. On Sunday, Liz, Kyle, Jon, Lindsee, Rhonda, Johann, and Cyriel went up Carter Canyon, along Aspen Loop, and the Marshall Gulch and Mint Spring Trails. The Aspens were very colorful.
2. Wolfgang did a hike along the Arizona Trail, starting near Prison Camp, on Saturday morning.
3. Wit hiked near the Prison Camp area on Sunday.
4. Erich returned from Europe, in which he was in several countries, including the Canary Islands. He also climbed up the high point in Andorra, in the Pyrenees.

Future Hikes

1. Jon is leading a trip to the Boyce Thompson Arboretum and White Canyon. Departure is on Saturday morning @ 6:00AM (10/30/1999). Important to contact Jon: jonh@U.ARIZONA.EDU
2. Wolfgang is leading a hike to Sycamore Canyon, near the Mexican border, Saturday (11/6/1999). Rated "B". Contact Wolfgang at: wolfgang@u.arizona.edu
