Minutes for Meeting of 01-30-2002

Here are abbreviated minutes from the last meeting. I deleted Mary's last minutes from my own email, so I don't have the regular format.

UPCOMING HIKES

1) Hanna is leading a hike/overnight to the Peppersauce cave this weekend. She will leave Saturday at 11 am from Park Student Union and return Sunday around noon. Hikers/campers should bring gear for staying overnight, food, light sources for inside the cave. If you have any questions, you can contact Hanna at hanna@u.arizona.edu.

2) Sunday, Joe Leisz is leading a hike to the Bridal Wreath(?) Falls in the Rincons. He will leave at 8:30 a.m. from Park Student Union and return around 2 or 3 p.m.. The hike is 5-6 miles round trip. If interested, RVSP Joe at jleisz@ag.arizona.edu.

3) Michael Dumke is leading a trip to Mt. Whitney. Details for this hike are in previous editions of the minutes.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

1) The Mule Shoe volunteer trip has been indefinitely postponed. Hanna is looking for suggestions regarding other volunteer opportunities.

2) There will be a PADRAC meeting on February 8 which will discuss the Krutch Garden. The meeting will be held from 9am to 4 pm, in room #205 of the Swede Johnson building. The agenda, and thus the time this issue will be discussed, has not yet been posted.

3) Ramblers' T-shirts from previous years are on sale, for six and seven dollars. Supplies are limited!
