Welcome to University of Arizona's Matsumura Seito Shorin Ryu Karate Club Website.

Want to learn how to street fight, the Okinawan way?
Interested in Self Defense?
Want a good workout?

If so, then our club is for YOU.

Our club is composed of a small group of students that practice one of the oldest forms of traditional Okinawan Karate. We focus on self-defense, physical and mental conditioning, and preserving the traditions of Matsumura Seito Karate.

Directly affiliated with the A.O.S.K.K.F (All Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate and Kobudo Federation), our dojo is one of the only places in Arizona where traditional Matsumura Seito Shorin Ryu is taught.

Our club meets three times a week at the University Student Recreation Center, and practices are open to anyone interested in having fun while learning a practical form of traditional self defense.

Please feel free to navigate the site and contact us here with any questions (This is the Club President Contact, basic questions and comments). You can also contact Sensei Jim Miller directly here.
