A big THANK YOU to Mr. Feiles who after 8 years has turned over the title of Regional Chief of Tournaments. The new officers are Ms. Jennifer Hinckley and Ms. Jessica Chrysty. Congratulations to Ms. Diana Perry for completing her Instructor Certification!!! Mr. Eric Hodges also successful recertified as an awesome instructor! Congratulations to Mr. Esposito on achieving his 2nd degree black belt and to Mrs. Julia Ayala and Ms. Darci Slaten for achieving the rank of 1st degree black belt! Congratulations to the people who attended the Kickin in the Castle Tournament on November 6th. Diana Perry is still stuck competing with the big bad 3rd degrees, but is getting better each time, this time taking something away from a tie-breaker! Mr. Duane Skiles also performed very well.
Congratulations to Ms. Sarah Perry for her performance at Fall Nationals in Orlando, FL. She did her very first midterm at an international event, performing wonderfully and breaking her boards on the first try. She is also now a Level 3 certified weapons judge!. Several other UofA-type people also attended, and were successful in the tournament portion of the event.
Congratulations to Ms. Diana Perry and Mr. Eric Hodges for their very first rank promotion ceremony on Sept. 28th at the new ATA school at Kolb and Sunrise. The grand event included Ms. Adriano and Ms. Cox as special guest judges. Congratulations to everyone who participated in Mr. Moody's Regional Tournament on September 25th up in Phoenix. Diana Perry competed once more with the big bad 3rd degrees, performing very well and tying Ms. Perry with her form's score. Ash also participated in his first tournament.
