Best Buddies International is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for mutually enriching one-to-one friendships and integrated employment.

The University of Arizona chapter of Best Buddies matches college students with members of the Tucson, Arizona community with intellectual disabilities. In July, 2007, the University of Arizona was presented with an Outstanding Chapter Award from Best Buddies International. There are over 295 college chapters working to revolutionize the way our society views people with intellectual disabilities, one friendship at a time.
