Student Profiles Meggie Erickson Major: Biochemistry Year: Freshman Hometown: Fargo, ND Goals for the future: I hope to get the most out of my college experience academically and socially! College is a lot more difficult than high school so if I keep my GPA above a 3.5 I plan to go onto Med-school (possibly in ND). Before I settle down the a family and a job I want to go skydiving!! Random, I know, but so am I! Favorite LCM event this year: LA JOLLA RETREAT!! Going on this trip is what connected me with everyone and I made true friends on this weekend trip! I love having a close-knit group of church friends whom I know I can always count on. Best LCM memory: Hmmm... so many to choose from! Visiting he "haunted" corn maze for Halloween was pretty intense and so was our poker night for charity with break dancing lessons by Cannon. LCM in itself is intense! I love it! Liz Martin Major: Philosophy (Picture Not Available) Allison Schneider Major: Speech and Hearing Sciences Year: Junior Hometown: Ahwatukee, AZ Favorite LCM event this year: I would say that it was not a specific event that I've enjoyed the most, but the weekly Vespers that we've had. I don't think I could have survived my first semester of college without this weekly time to de-stress, eat food, and enjoy laughter. This is a time for me to take a step back from my busy week and see what truly mattered to me... church and the wonderful people I call my closest friends. Best LCM memory: I have so many great memories with LCM, but I will always remember our hike up Picacho Peak and how we all helped and encouraged eachother to the top. When we finally made it to the peak I just remember looking around the 360 degree view and the people surrounding me and thinking this is what truly matters in life. More profiles coming soon! |
