Muralcles has recently joined an
online community called OrgSync that allows for members to be reminded
of upcoming meetings and events, to fill out forms, vote in polls and
stay connected with other members. We require members to join OrgSync.
It is free and easy to use.
HOW TO CREATE AN ORGSYNC ACCOUNT
Please follow the simple instructions on how to join on our Become a Member page.
GETTING TO MY MURALCLES HOMEPAGE
When you sign into OrgSync you will be at your personal page called your "portal". This is where you can check your OrgSync mail and see updates from all the UA clubs you are involved in and registered for through OrgSync. On the left-hand column click on "Muralcles" to be directed to the Muralcles homepage.
MURALCLES HOMEPAGE
The Muralcles homepage has important information on upcoming meetings, events, polls and bulletins. This is also where you can access other areas of the Muralcles-OrgSync site.
MEMBER'S INFORMATION FORM
One of the required steps in becoming a new member is filling out a member's information form. This form asks a few questions that will allow Muralcles to get in contact with you should we ever need to. You can find this form from the main page by clicking on "Tools" in the left-hand column and then on "Forms". From the "Forms" page click on "New Submission" for the Member's Information Form.
CHECKING FOR THE DATE OF THE NEXT MEETING
Meeting dates and locations can be found from the main page under the "Tools" and then "Meetings" link in the left-hand column. You can also view this information under the "Calendar" link.
SIGNING UP FOR EVENTS ONLINE
Muralcles now allows for member's to register for events online! Select spots from each event are reserved for online registration as well as all spots that do not get signed up for at meetings. To access the events page from the main page click on "Tools" in the left-hand column and then on "Events". A list of events will appear. Those without a lock symbol are available for sign-up. Those with locks are not available for sign up and have either already passed or will be open in the future. Once you find a session you are interested in, click on the "Add Event" link to be added to the session. Please note that most events have a maximum for how many members may sign up. When the event is full you will be prevented from signing up.
CHECKING MY STATUS AS A MEMBER
Muralcles is divided into active and inactive membership. For further explanation please visit our Become a Member page. To check you status from the home page click on "People" in the left-hand column and then on "Families". This will take you to the families page that will show a list of names for active, inactive and new members. If this is your first semester with Muralcles your name will appear under the new members category. If you were a member in the previous semester your name will be listed as active or inactive. Statuses are updated ONLY at the end of the semester. It is the responsibility of the member to keep track of his/her individual point status through out the semester.
