UMC and TMC hospital sessions are fun hands-on events hosted by
Muralcles. During these two-hour sessions a pre-planned craft project is
brought to the hospital and is done with the children in the playroom of
the pediatric ward of the hospital. These sessions are very rewarding
because they allow for interaction with hospitalized children.
For
children who cannot leave their rooms, we create Art Bags. An art bag is
a canvas tote decorated with the Muralcles logo and filled with fun
craft supplies and toys for these special children. A Muralcles member
takes an Art Bag and the day's craft project to the child's room for a
one-on-one session of art, crafts and fun.
IMPORTANT RULES FOR HOSPITAL SESSIONS:
- You MUST be a full Muralcles member to sign-up. (If
you are not a member please click here).
- You must wear a Muralcles T-shirt and closed toe shoes to
the hospital session.
- If you at all feel sick before the session, you must
notify the
coordinator and cancel. It is important to do
this because
you could endanger a patient if you came to the
session sick.
- If you need to cancel for any reason, please do so as
soon as possible so that another person can take your
place.
How to Sign-Up for Hospital Sessions:
New hospital sessions are available for sign-up at every general club
meeting. Any remaining spots that are not signed up for at these
meetings will be posted on OrgSync under the "Events" section.

these spots please contact the appropriate hospital coordinator. A list of
